Advice for out of area & short notice tests 2023. Here at the I.O.W Driving Academy we pride ourselves on providing high quality professional tuition to 1000’s of our students to ensure that they are safe on our roads and thus being able achieve the standard to pass the driving test.
We are getting 100’s of enquiries per month from learners who live all over the U.K. They have booked a practical driving test on the Island and want a few hours prior to the test and use our car for the test.
We do not offer this service! As professional instructors our aim is teach safe driving for life! We are not interested in renting our car out to people we have never met before as we have no idea what standard of driving you have.
If you do enquire, we will want to conduct an assessment to determine your level of driving. We will then give you a verbal recommendation of the hours you need and then we can book a test. (if you are ready)
Please do not call us if you want to just use our cars. All of our Instructors are self employed so their cars are their livelihood.
