Update on Driving Lessons – When we may resume.
As a team we have come to the conclusion that we probably will not resume regular driving lessons through the month of June. Possibly a start date early July 2020. Any students with tests booked June 2020 or early July 2020, your Instructor will be in touch to discuss and make arrangements with you regarding your test date.
I know students are wondering after 2 months away when they will be able to get training again, especially as some students have their test dates coming soon.
The Academy does not and will not put any students health or wellbeing at risk. We will go back at the right time for us all. Unfortunately the Government has not given any clear direction for this Industry and we even have pupils with rearranged tests for June 2020. We have emailed the local DVSA representative over this matter for clarification.
We have now been taking new client calls asking about lessons etc. Even though we cannot give any definite date for our return to teaching, we will take the details of those students to ensure we give them a call back as soon as we know.
The I.O.W Driving Academy being one of the Islands premier schools will ensure that when we return that all measures will be put in place that are practical to ensure the safest working environment that we can.
Any current student with a test booked please call your Instructor if you are unsure about dates or cancellations.
